Puppy training outdoors
Foundation Program

Give Your Puppy the Best Start Possible

The Foundation Program is designed for puppies just beginning their training journey, building the skills and habits that set the stage for a lifetime of success.

Why Start Early?

The window between 8 weeks and 6 months is one of the most important periods in your dog's life. What they learn — and how they learn it — shapes their behavior for years to come. A solid foundation today means fewer challenges tomorrow and a dog who genuinely understands what's expected of them.

The Foundation Program isn't just about teaching commands. It's about helping your puppy build confidence, develop good habits, and strengthen your relationship based on clear communication and trust.

What Your Dog Will Learn

Building the Essential Skills for Everyday Life

Basic Obedience

Build the foundation through essential commands that create clear communication, good manners, and confidence in everday life.

Purposeful Play

Using structured play to teach appropriate interactions, and strengthen engagement.

Leash Manners

Walking politely on leash without pulling, making walks more enjoyable and less stressful.

Recall (Come)

A reliable recall is one of the most important safety skills your dog can have.

Impulse Control

Learning to pause, think and make good choices — even when distractions are present.

Place / Settle

Teaching your puppy to relax in a designated spot, making life at home, around guests, and in public calmer and more manageable.

Crate Training

Building a positive relationship with the crate so it becomes a safe, comfortable place for rest, travel, and downtime. Structured rest periods help your puppy learn to settle independently while preventing overstimulation.

Potty Training

Establishing a consistent routine that encourage success, reinforces good habits, and helps to prevent accidents at home.

Socialization & Exposure

Building confidence through positive, controlled exposure to new people, places, sounds, surfaces, and everyday experiences.

Choose your path

Two Ways to Get There

The skills are the same. The path depends on what works best for you and your dog.
